Pas pour l'argent, pas pour la gloire, mais pour aider

Who are you ?

We are a small group of people whose target is to promote the use of renewable energies, basically in third world countries. Our members, engineers, teachers and technicians with different backgrounds, some having retired from their official positions, are available to take care of developments or for voluntary missions. The name of our association is H2O Energies. Most of us have also worked for more than 10 years with REDI S.A., the Institute for the Development of Renewable Energies.

What are we doing ?

The problem of the drinking water in the world is becoming crucial and we have developed a filtering and purify system water on the site of the river Arve near Geneva, The Arve is a fluctuating river which flows from the Mt Blanc glacier. It carries fine silt and bacterial pollution from the neighbouring towns. Thanks to our knowledge of water processing, to ex-collaborators of the Geneva Water Company, to the facilities made available by this company (research and test labs), we have developed a water filtering system capable of processing 20.000 litres of drinking water per day, normally sufficient to meet the needs of about 1.000 people. This filter system can be regenerated by counter-flow washing. It is built so as to make its use extremely simple. It is entirely made of stainless steel. The UV disinfection device makes it possible to provide bacteriologically safe drinking water meeting with the strict norms laid down by the Swiss government. Official tests and analyses have proven the efficiency of the system. It is meant to be installed in developing countries.

What have we achieved so  far ?

Looking back to past history allows us to see that we have taken part in important initiatives for the IRCC and HCR in Croatia and Tchetchnia, with the François Xavier Bagnou Association in Myanmar, and in North Korea for the DDC. We have also been active in Haïti.

What are  we looking for ?

We are seeking a partnership with organisations active in water processing as well as with developing countries, capable of installing the water filtering and purifying system that we have developed. This equipment is designed to be installed in dispensaries, small hospitals, schooling centers, i.e. in facilities that can ensure their maintenance through a responsible person.
