In our industrialized countries, this satement has not the same meaning as for many women in Africa and other poor regions.
For us, water is not a daily concern; it becomes so only when an interruption occurs due to a failure or pipe rupture. But this is by far not the case for women in Africa who often must walk kilometers every day to fetch water that is often undrinkable.
That is why our Association is actively helping to provide drinking water to disadvantaged populations especially in rural areas in Cameroon and Kenya.
